DABBEL managed to get selected by Climate-KIC in three consecutive stages, now participating in the final Stage 3 of their Accelerator Programme for innovative CleanTech Startups. Each Stage takes six months, has a special focus and provides financial support, business coaching and mentoring, investor matchmaking, events and training.
To give you a better understanding of the programme, the following describes DABBEL’s journey from Stage 1 to 3.
The first stage “Fundamentals” helped DABBEL to refine and develop the USP and business model to scale our business. Here, our first pilot got finalised and we obtained positive industry feedback.
As we reached the milestones, we moved to second stage “Validation”. With our well-formulated business model, we were able to proceed to the phase concerning validation and customer acquisition. Whilst receiving continuing support from mentors and attending workshops, DABBEL managed to acquire their first paying customer and thus validate our business model.
Due to DABBEL’s successful validation, Climate-KIC selected our startup for the third and final stage “Delivery”. During this stage, our business will be prepared for a future of investment rounds and scaling. As we expanded to Poland and plan our next step with clients from the Middle East and New Zealand, Climate-KIC will prepare us with workshops and events for negotiations to help us grow.
One of these events was the Demo Day which took place on the 27.09.2019 in Berlin including CKIC’s most promising cleantech and smart green startups across Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
DABBEL is among these startups and additionally had the honour of pitching our idea of AI-Autonomous Building Management Systems of the future. Furthermore, the event stimulated networking with startups, innovators, investors and multipliers.
